You should be working with a Realtor who leverages multiple channels when selling a home.  Many Realtors rely on MLS and/or local real estate newspapers to sell their listings.  Besides these 'table stakes' tactics, I take full advantage of the Internet to post my listings (your home) to multiple real estate portals in order to maximize exposure.  Kijiji.ca (highly popular classifieds site) ... Craigslist.org (the standard in local buying & selling) ... Househunting.ca (Canwest Global real estate portal) ... Zoocasa.com (a new Canadian real estate search engine) just to name a few.  I also take advantage of my extended social and business network to promote your home and/or to find you that dream home.

 

My own real estate portal, PilarOsing.com, is a highly successful site and places very high on Google, bing (new Microsoft search engine) and other search engines.  This means that your listings will be exposed to more visitors typing in key words like White Rock Real Estate, Houses White Rock, etc...
